Blindside Blues Band - To The Station 1996

Blindside Blues Band - To The Station 1996

Blues

For To the Station, Mike Onesko assembled a hard rock soupergroup and set out to record a heavy blues power-trio album. Though much of the album comes across as slick AOR, not gritty downhome blues, there are moments when Onesko's throaty, impassioned vocals kick the record into high gear. During those times, you wonder why he didn't just make a striaght blues-rock album instead of diluting his music in an attempt to broaden his appeal with dated arena rock production.

Blindside Blues Band - Messenger of the Blues 1995

Blindside Blues Band - Messenger of the Blues 1995
Recorded at Prairie Sun Studios, Cotati, California

Blues

This band ranks highly alongside other great rockin' bands as Deep Purple,Led Zepplin,Cream, etc. This album, along with "To the Station", have not left my "stacker" since I purchased them some months back, and their first C.D. "Blindside" is taking a brief rest, after many months of listening.
The vocals & guitar of Mike Onesko are brilliant and I looove the driving bass line.
If your looking/listening to these masterpieces and they grab ya Blues soul...
or anywhere else! buy them ya wont be disapointed.
