William CLARK - Now That You're Gone 2001

William CLARK - Now That You're Gone 2001
Label: Watch Dog

Blues

Swinging Blues Harmonica from the master of Blues harmonica. Early music prior to his Alligator Recordings. Great cd for those who love West Coast Blues.
'Now That You're Gone' is a cd of Harmonica great William Clarke's music from previous albums that have been out of print for years. A must for Blues Harmonica lovers. This cd was produced by William Clarke's widow.

William Clarke was in my opinion one of the very best harpists that ever lived on this planet. As good as he was to blow a jazzy or jumping tune on the chromatic harmonica, the emotion he could express in a slow blues on the bluesharp, I've never heard any better. No note-blurring but playing and feeling every note in a very sensible way.
You won't regret it!!
