Shane DWIGHT Blues Band - Boogie King 2001

Shane DWIGHT Blues Band - Boogie King 2001

Blues

Shane Dwight is a charismatic and supremely talented guitarist, soulful vocalist, prolific songwriter and one of the brightest young up-and-coming stars on the blues scene today. In one short year the Shane Dwight Blues Band has been catapulted to the forefront of the West Coast Blues Scene. Appearing at prestigious venues such as the Monterey Blues Festival, San Francisco Jazz Festival, Slim's in San Francisco, John Lee Hookers' Boom Boom Room, Biscuit And Blues (S.F.), Moe's Alley In Santa Cruz, Torch Club in Sacramento and B.B. Kings in Los Angeles. These are just a few of the venues that recognize & appreciate the potential of Shane & his band and are expecting great things in their future. Shane and his band, are getting rave revues at every venue they play.....

Silicon Valley Metro's Marianne Messina quotes, "... In spite of 'old' influences, Shane Dwight is anything but dated ... Dwight hops up crowds wandering in from both hip-hop and rock clubs ... He's been known to incite the girls to crazy-wild behavior."

Monterey's Coast Weekly's Chuck Thurman says, "This guy's on fire."

Santa Cruz Good Times Bruce Willey says. "Early exposure (to the Blues) combined with an intense commitment has made Dwight one of the most sought after blues players... The blues powerhouse lays down a blistering guitar spell that binds with his sturdy smoky voice."

Monterey County Heralds Mac McDonald says, "Dwight, who comes off as a younger Tommy Castro with his rockin' blues, charismatic stage presence and crowd-pleasing repertoire, won both the judge' top prize as well as audience approval (at Monterey Bay Blues Festival's Inaugural Battle of the Bands)."

The catalyst of Shane's growing popularity and fan base has been the unforeseen development of his soulful, country-tinged vocals and charismatic stage persona. Though he has only been singing and fronting his own band for a year, continuous media exposure and "good press" has afforded Shane the opportunity to play extensively throughout the West Coast as he builds a loyal fan base in every city that he plays. Frankly, he is performing at a maturity level well beyond his years.

The Blues Band, known for it's high octane, dance 'till you drop Blues & Rock, is fast becoming the 'Blues Sensation' of the West Coast. The bands ability to draw a crowd is consistent and unparalleled as each show draws more and more fans who file in and literally 'Boogie' all night. The Shane Dwight Blues Band currently features...
