Vidar BUSK - Venus, Texas 2001
Blues
A true guitar-hero, Vidar Busk has left out "His True Believers" (his band on all the previous releases) and co-operated with different people on this somewhat less guitar-centered record. Like the referred place, this is a hot and dusty record. Groovy blues. Influenced greatly by Vidar's four years as an illegal immigrant on the road in the southern states of the U.S. as a young boy. It’s really a U-turn in musical direction, as his previous records has been more Swing (heh, forget all you thought you knew about Swing) and old-time rock 'n' roll,
with Vidar's guitar-magic at center-stage.
